Celebration 2009

We stumbled upon the quaint little town of Celebration whilst trying to find a post office to post our holiday postcards.  There were the most beautiful American houses lining the street all done up to celebrate Independence Day.  I would LOVE to live in a house like this!

Beautiful Celebration home

That night we drove back to Celebration, parked up the car and took a walk into the little town.  There was a row of lovely little shops.  I could have spent a fortune in one of the gift shops (the name escapes me).  There was a lovely lake with deckchairs where some local men were fishing and a cinema.  There were so many resturants that we couldn't decide which one to go to.  In the end we decided we would go to the Columbia Restaurant. We had a delicious meal in there which filled us up so  much we could hardly walk when we came out! I had the Mar y Tierra; A char-grilled churrasco tenderloin of beef served with chimichuri sauce and three Panamanian prawns grilled and dressed with “1905” sauce. Served with “Good Rice” and vegetables. Lol. YUM! Highly recommended if ever you go!
